17th Australian Masters Games Entertainment

The Australian Masters Games is just as much about the social events as it is about the sports and this year we are bringing back the Games hub at the Adelaide Convention Centre with an amazing lineup of entertainment throughout the week. 

Get the gang together and get ready to play during the day and party at night this October and make the most of the week-long festival of sport.

The 2019 lineup includes:

Saturday 5 October - Opening Ceremony and Adelaide cover band Blackjack

As always, the Games will kick off with the much-loved athlete march into the Adelaide Convention Centre welcoming everyone to the weeklong festival of sport.

The march will be taking place in Hall H in the Convention Centre. In order to take part all participants must be in Hall H by 6:30pm. 

Adelaide cover band Blackjack will be on hand bringing the tunes and welcoming the over 8,000 participants and their supporters to the Games. Their music ranges from ABBA and Stevie Wonder to Justin Timberlake and Beyonce and will surely get everyone moving.

Sunday 6 October - Glenelg Street Party

Visit the Bay, as Jetty Road, Glenelg is throwing another Street Party on Sunday 6 October 2019, from 11am to 5pm.

Jetty Road will be closing to welcome thousands of locals and visitors as part of the official program of the Australian Masters Games.

Get ready for a day of fun, filled with gourmet food, incredible shopping, pop up bars, exciting fashion parades, roaming entertainment and live music that will keep you dancing all afternoon.

Wednesday 9 October - Immaculate Madonna

The party will continue throughout the week with Immaculate Madonna, one of the very best tributes to the queen of pop, set to perform midweek at the Adelaide Convention Centre. It will be the perfect way to let loose halfway through the Games.

Immaculate Madonna pays tribute to the global icon that is Madonna. Recreating one of the best female artists of all time and featuring the most popular dance anthems for generations guaranteed to get participants up and dancing.

Friday 11 October - The Ultimate Elvis Tribute with Mark Anthony

One of the world’s most accomplished Elvis tribute artists, Mark Anthony, is set to light up the stage at the Games.

Anthony and his live band, which has been noted for performing Presley’s hits with the same passion as the original recordings, will be in the building, at the Games Village at the Adelaide Convention Centre, on Friday 11 October to entertain participants.

Saturday 12 October - Closing Ceremony and Billy Joel Tribute Concert

Fresh off a huge national tour, Celebrating the Music of Billy Joel with Anthony Mara will be performing on the final night of the Games closing the 2019 event in style.

The full live band consists of the finest musicians around, plus state of the art sound and lighting, in a powerful show that has all the classic Billy Joel hits such as:  “Piano Man”, “New York State Of Mind”, “Honesty”, “It’s Still Rock’n’roll To Me”, “Uptown Girl”, “We Didn’t Start The Fire”, “River Of Dreams” plus many more.
